Isabella Lozano (b. 1994, Londrina, Brazil) is a contemporary printmaker based in London, England.
Her work explores the narrative power of everyday objects, which through the lens of personal and collective memory, are reframed as mirrors that reflect and reimagine human experience and identity.
Rooted in lived experiences of displacement and cultural in-betweenness, her practice reflects a sensitivity to themes of belonging, memory, and material attachment. Beginning with photographic observation, she distills ordinary, often overlooked moments into simplified graphic compositions that invite new interpretations and associations. The objects she depicts bear witness to human presence and become protagonists in their own right, proposing an alternative way of interpreting social nuance.
Lozano holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Film Production from the University of the Arts London, with a focus on Art Direction and Graphic Design. Her work was featured in the Contemporary Printmaking Prize 2023 at Fen Ditton Gallery (UK).
